This is a collection of 14 Antique Wooden Handle Corkscrews which came out of a Manhattan estate and they are in phenomenal display and in good functional condition. Included are advertisement corkscrews from B. Cribari and Sons, 601 W. 26th St., New York; 1814 Monroe Ave, Brighton, N.Y., Phone-- Monroe 2458; Wright and Taylor Distillers, Louisville, Ky, Old Charter Whiskey; Dewey Wines, Famous Since 1857; Milwaukee; and 9 other non advertising wooden handle corkscrews. All of these likely date back to the turn of the century or earlier, one is solid brass with highly unusual design mechanism for removing corks, two feature wooden discs which cover the metal corkscrew portions; three are crafted exclusively of twisted wire and one is inscribed with "G.B.D. Sweden." These weigh a total of 2 pounds and the buyer will receive the collection of 14.
