This is a Vintage 1923 Schiller Pfeiffer Electric Hedge Trimmer which came out of a Philadelphia commercial estate and it is in good looking and in good working condition. It is a Little Wonder made by Schiller-Pfeiffer Machine Works of E. York St., Philadelphia and has patent numbers which correspond with the years 1913 through 1923. It features a General Electric Universal motor with 115 volts, 60 Hz, 1/18 HP and 10000 rpm. It has a heavy 32" sickle cutting arm and is a magnificent early example of made-to-last equipment designed for the most exquisite estates whether you add it to your collection, use it for exhibit and/or place it back in service. The Schiller-Pfeiffer continues making Little Wonder trimmers today. The overall measurements are 5"x8-1/2"x45" and it weighs 12 pounds.
