This is an Antique 1918 Dioptrometer Optical Lens Power Measure which came out of a Philadelphia medical estate and it is in good looking condition. It was made by Bausch Ü Lomb Optical Company of Rochester, New York and has patent dates which range from January 6, 1914 through October 16, 1918. This is an apparatus for measuring the power of commercial lenses and is sturdily constructed of brass with iron and steel base. We are unequipped to test this instrument and therefore it is offered as is condition.

WeÜ#39;ve seen very few early medical instruments which are as sophisticated and well built as this one. It measures 8"x10"x20-1/2" and weighs 35 pounds.
