This is a Vintage 1944 Machine Age Design Hartford Conn. Electric Drill which came out of a Manhattan estate and it is in good looking and in working condition. It is imprinted with "Hartford, Conn." and a patent number on the lower part of the chuck which corresponds with the year 1944 and the handle screws into either side for left or right hand users. This drill is a magnificent example of machine age design unlikely to ever be made again in the U.S. whether you use it for display and/or place it back into creative service. It measures 4"x8"x9" and weighs 6 pounds.
